Obtain Language Certification
The candidate must pass a recognized Japanese Language Test, such as JLPT N4 or JFT-Basic (A2 level), which is generally the minimum requirement for the Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) visa. This demonstrates the ability to understand and use basic everyday Japanese in work and daily life.
Skills Test Requirement

COE File Submission
The accepting organization (Japanese employer) submits the complete application on behalf of the candidate, including the employment contract and the request for a Certificate of Eligibility (COE), to the Immigration Services Agency of Japan.
COE Issuance
After a review period of one to three months, the Immigration Services Agency of Japan issues the Certificate of Eligibility (COE), which serves as official approval for visa application. The COE is first sent to the accepting organization in Japan, which then securely forwards it to the candidate for the next step of visa processing.
Final Visa Application and Issuance
After receiving the Certificate of Eligibility (COE), the candidate submits the original passport, COE, and other required supporting documents to the Japanese Embassy, Consulate, or designated Visa Application Centre in Bangladesh. Since the COE confirms immigration approval of status, visa processing is generally faster, and the visa is usually issued within a few working days to several weeks, depending on the case and embassy schedule.
